Discover the charm of Shōmyō!
A pre-event for 'Prayer Music by Shingon Buddhism Shōmyō and Countertenor' (November 22 performance) will be held at the Fukuoka Symphony Hall. It features valuable stories told by the chief priest himself and experiences of practicing Shōmyō, a project that thoroughly conveys the charm of 'Shōmyō'. Perfect for a preview of the Fukuoka performance! Performers include Taikei Tsutsumi (General Secretary of the Daikakuji branch of Shingon Buddhism and chief priest of Hōzō-in) and Zuin Tatebe (chief priest of the special head temple Chinkoku-ji). *Limited to the first 50 participants, reservation required.
