The picture books illustrated by Kaiko Nishimaki with a free and lively line and color have been read by many children. This exhibition commemorates the acquisition of Nishimaki's first picture book "The Land of Buttons" (1967, Koguma Shoten) and presents all scenes for the first time. Additionally, it showcases her third picture book, which became a bestseller, "My Dress" (1969, Koguma Shoten), highlighting the charm of Kaiko Nishimaki's picture book creation that continues to be read and remains fresh even after more than 50 years.
