Mihama-en Tea Ceremony Class Spring 2025

A gentle and fun tea ceremony lesson that even those touching the tea ceremony for the first time can participate in with peace of mind. Learn the spirit of the tea ceremony while enjoying Japanese culture in the authentic tea room "Shoraitei". A classroom where you can learn the basics of handling tea utensils and the etiquette in the tea room from the fundamentals. The capacity is 14 people (reservation required, selected by lottery). The target is those aged 18 and over who can participate in all 7 sessions. Applications can be made from March 20 (Thursday) to March 31 (Monday) from 9:00 to 17:00 via the website or by phone. ■Notes There may be cancellations or changes in content due to the influence of infectious diseases.

Parking for block C is available from 7:30 to 21:30 (entry until 20:00, open every day except New Year's). 600 yen for 8 hours, and thereafter 100 yen will be added for each additional hour (cashier-operated fee collection). *Other parking is available in blocks A and B.

Access

Exit the "Wangan Narashino" interchange on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway and proceed straight on National Route 357, turn right at Nakase intersection and left at Messe intersection.
