The cherry blossoms at Tsuchiura Castle Ruins (Kamejo Park), a symbol of Tsuchiura, and the natural monument cherry blossoms bloom splendidly throughout the city. During the festival period, there will be light-ups, a digital stamp rally featuring 2,000 cherry blossoms in Tsuchiura, and a "#TsuchiuraSakura2025" hashtag campaign. Additionally, on April 5 (Saturday) and 6 (Sunday), there will be a cherry blossom gourmet festival, cherry blossom boat rides in the moat, cherry blossom ponies, kamishibai storytelling, monkey performances, Kamejo Taiko preservation society, and a Geo Park PR booth (only on the 5th).

- The cherry blossoms at Kamejo Park, Shinkawa, and Sakuragawa embankment will be lit up from 18:00 to 22:00. Events will be held at Kamejo Park on April 5 (Saturday) and 6 (Sunday) from 11:00 to 16:00.
