1st Hirai Museum Saturday Salon "Jomon Agriculture Theory from Recent Research"

Jomon Agriculture Theory from Recent Research
The overall theme of this year's "Hirai Museum Saturday Salon" is "The Resource Utilization of Natural Objects by Jomon People." Through three lectures, we will consider the use of plants by Jomon people. In the first session, we will discuss the Jomon agriculture theory, which posits that cultivation and farming were practiced during the Jomon period. Based on the latest research results that have emerged from the examination of cultivated plants such as millet, sorghum, and soybeans excavated from ruins, we will explore the relationship between humans and cultivated plants. Registration by phone is required by June 13.
