Publication of the quarterly 'SHIP!': Talk by publisher and journalist Masaki Ikegami

Considering social issues of hikikomori and difficulty living
Human rights violations, isolation, abuse, caregiving, the 8050 problem, self-neglect... The social background that generates silent voices that individuals and their families cannot help but carry is illuminated, shedding light on things that were previously unseen. The quarterly 'SHIP!', communicating from the perspective of the affected parties, was launched in April of this year as a 'social issue to think about together.' We will hear from Masaki Ikegami, who has been covering hikikomori-related topics for nearly 30 years.
