Reiwa Year 7 Mahoron Special Exhibition "What Can Archaeology of U-15 Discover?"

Below the ground, traces of the activities of people from ancient times to the present day remain. This is called an "archaeological site." The act of excavating this "archaeological site," extracting various pieces of information, recording them, and summarizing them to be passed on to the future is called "excavation research." This exhibition focuses on the "excavation research sites" of archaeological sites in the prefecture, presenting clearly what has been discovered about ancient Fukushima and how excavation research is conducted.

The museum is closed on Mondays (but open on holidays and 9/22), and on 7/22, 8/12, and 9/16.
