The 31st Chikuzen Doll Gratitude Festival

Thank you, dolls
The "Chikuzen Doll Gratitude Festival," where we bid farewell and offer prayers for the dolls and stuffed animals we have cherished for many years, is held on the second Sunday of May at the Nosu Hachiman Shrine in Miyamachi, Iizuka City. We express our gratitude to the 'dolls' that have fulfilled their roles as children grow and environments change, perform a purification ritual, and then conduct a burning ceremony.
