2025 Nishio Gion Festival

The Nishio Gion Festival has been held for 400 years in the castle town of Nishio, known for its Rokumangoku. On Friday, the town comes together, and on Saturday, the daimyō procession walks through the city area west of Nishio Station, which is transformed into a walking path. Traditional portable shrines, floats, and lion dances will also be present. On Sunday, the festival culminates with the citywide dance "Odorin Nishio." *Events may change, so please check the website as the date approaches.
