The 63rd Oumuta 'Oniyama' Festival

The hottest day in Omuta is coming again this year
A summer festival representing the Chikugo region, held every year on the fourth Saturday and Sunday of July. Many large snake floats, each about 10 meters long, 5 meters high, and weighing up to 3 tons, parade through the streets while emitting smoke and flames. The sight of them moving freely, shaking their massive heads and shouting in a spirited manner, is a unique scene in Oumuta. The hottest day in Omuta is coming again this year! Sponsorship companies are also being recruited until May 31. For details, please refer to the website.
