Lecture "The Days Living with Jiro and Masako Shirase - Discovering the Charm of Kohoku and Nagahama Through the Shirase Family"

Understanding the lifestyle of Jiro and Masako Shirase
A lecture by Keio Makiyama, a son-in-law who knew Jiro and Masako Shirase well in their lifetime, revealing the true value of Kohoku and Nagahama. We will hear valuable stories from the perspective of someone who was close to the lives and lifestyles of Jiro and Masako Shirase, who greatly influenced post-war Japanese reconstruction. Additionally, we will unravel the charm of Lake Biwa in Nagahama, which attracted the Shirase family, who frequently visited Kohoku, including many works themed around the landscapes of Nagahama, starting with the book "Kakurezato."
