16th Jogawa River Hanging Festival

Enjoy the best summer with Hanging!
The Jogawa River Hanging Festival is one of the three major summer festivals in Kanzaki City. It is a riverside event where participants compete in speed using the local specialty, 'Hanging', which involves harvesting water chestnuts at the riverside school on the Jogawa River, and enjoy with their families. At night, the venue is enlivened with stage events and performances in the parking lot south of the Chiyoda Community Center nearby. The festival concludes with a fireworks display.
