The 'Numazu Summer Festival & Kanogawa Fireworks Festival', which started in 1948 (Showa 23) to energize the citizens and promote the reconstruction of the shopping district shortly after the war, is held over two days in late July every year. It boasts one of the largest scales among fireworks festivals in the Tokai region and has become a summer tradition in Numazu City, attracting over 300,000 visitors each year. The diverse program allows you to experience sound and light up close, beautifully decorating the summer night sky of Numazu, with the finale Niagara being a must-see!
