Orchestra by children from Mito and nearby areas
The Mito Junior Orchestra, made up mainly of elementary, junior, and senior high school students living in Mito City and the surrounding areas, holds a regular concert every August. The program, conducted by Mr. Yumeki Terunuma (clarinetist of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra), features Tchaikovsky's ballet music 'The Nutcracker' as the main piece. With the support of the choir, let's enjoy the world of authentic ballet music!
