[Sakura Viewing] Sakura Tsutsumi Road

The approximately 5km promenade along the Kawahata River flowing through Hasami Town stretches from the starting point at Gakubenda (Umetakano) to Yashukugo (Jingawabashi), featuring a paved running path and around 300 commemorative cherry blossoms. In spring, the flowers bloom in full, creating a soothing landscape with kingfishers, herons, and families of wild ducks, making it a favorite spot for walking and jogging among many people from both inside and outside the town. Seasonal festivals are also held at Tanoatari Riverside Park and Nishi Maeda Temple Riverside Park.
