Prints Reflecting the Showa Era 3: From the Collection of Ueno Zoo Museum - Ueno Zoo

Animals, birds, and bats will make an appearance!
An annual summer exhibition showcasing prints from the collection. This time, 38 works depicting animals will be on display, focusing on print artists such as Yasuo Kōzuki and Yukio Fukazawa from the post-war era, as well as including pen drawings by Kōsuke Hino. The animals are not necessarily the main subjects but appear in landscapes or are incorporated as decorative elements or forms, showcasing various representations. It seems fun to search for where and what animals can be found.
