Botanical Garden of Peonies and Japanese Tree Peony Festival at Machida Yakushike Park

There are about 330 varieties and 1700 peony plants, including large flower varieties like 'Shima Nishiki' and 'Kikan', as well as the rare green variety 'Marimo'. Additionally, about 60 varieties and 600 plants of Japanese tree peony are planted, allowing visitors to enjoy vibrant large flowers in red, pink, white, and yellow. There is also a lawn area with a wisteria trellis and late-blooming cherry trees planted, where you can spread a mat and relax.
