Misegaya Dam Lake is known for canoeing and boating competitions. About 100 Someiyoshino cherry trees are planted on the eastern side where the dam releases water. Additionally, the railway bridge between Misegaya Station and Takihara Station on the Kisei Main Line, which runs in front of the dam, is a popular photography spot where train enthusiasts gather, especially during cherry blossom season when photographers increase.
